My Hometown Photoshoot

 Hello Viewer,

For this Week's rounds of photos, I decided to take pictures around my hometown of Elmira/Veneta, Oregon. Being a rural town inside Lane County, this town isn't known for very much, but you can always seem to have a full and fun day by walking around and witnessing all that it has to offer. Here are some photos from my day spent in these Towns:

This is the Applegate Pioneer Museum that's located on West Broadway Street, Veneta, Oregon. The Applegate Trail is classified as the Southern route of the Oregon Trail, where the settlers traveled as an alternative route to the Columbia River. This Applegate Trail went through Veneta, Oregon and this museum is a documentation of that history. This picture was taken at 4PM on Nov. 8 and right as these two people took their Three Wheel to go drop off their vote on Election Day.

If you grew up in the Elmira/Veneta area, I am sure that you know this site from almost every summer break. This picture was taken right in front of the Fern Ridge Dam as it was being drained into the Long Tom River. This picture was taken at 9AM on November 8, after a storm released for an hour break, I saw so much wildlife while waiting here.

This FedEx driver has been the same person delivering my packages for the last 2 and a half years. Her name is Timberly King (Age: 50), and for the last twelve years she has delivered packages to all the people of Elmira/Veneta, Oregon. This picture was taken outside my house, after a package was delivered at about 1PM on Wednesday of Nov. 8.

This picture was taken at around 5PM on November 8, also known as Election Day. During my time taking pictures of the Veneta City Hall, there was a lot of people turning in their ballots on the last day of availability. It may have been a burden on time but its always important to vote if you are eligible too.
